Hayes Steinberg is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and former corporate executive with more than 30 years of experience in marketing and creative advertising. At Eden Wellness Psychotherapy, he works with adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism and self-doubt, stress and burnout, professional relationships, and career and life transitions.
Hayes has a particular interest in working with executives, leaders, entrepreneurs, lawyers and other high-achieving and career-focused professionals. Having worked with some of the world’s largest brands and organizational leaders, and also having owned his own business, he understands firsthand the pressures of high-performance careers.
His understanding of professional pressure extends beyond the corporate world. Having grown up surrounded by the legal profession, Hayes also developed an early appreciation for the particular demands lawyers can carry, and how those demands may affect wellbeing, relationships and family life. This experience continues to inform his interest in supporting lawyers and legal professionals today.
Having also made a significant second-career transition himself, Hayes understands how closely career, achievement and professional identity can become intertwined with our sense of self. He supports clients who may be questioning what comes next, navigating change or burnout, or reconsidering what success and fulfillment mean at different stages of their lives.
His approach is curious, approachable and collaborative, with an emphasis on helping clients better understand the patterns shaping how they think, feel and make decisions. Drawing from psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-informed approaches, Hayes helps clients translate greater self-awareness into practical, meaningful change.

I am the Founder and Clinic Director of Eden Wellness Psychotherapy. As a former lawyer, Registered Psychotherapist, and Adjunct Faculty member of Osgoode Hall Law School, I work with individuals, with a particular focus on professionals, including executive, lawyers, doctors, and others in demanding roles, navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, self-criticism, relationship strain, and the pressure of holding a great deal together. I also support couples in communication breakdown, disconnect, and conflict.
Many of the clients I support are capable, responsible, and outwardly composed. They meet deadlines, show up for others, and keep moving, even when they are tired. Underneath, they may feel anxious, depleted, disconnected, or caught in patterns of overthinking, over-functioning, and relentless internal pressure.
Some come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or the constant need to perform. Others are trying to make sense of difficult relationship patterns, major life transitions, workplace strain, or the quiet cost of always being the person others rely on.
As a high-achiever, work-in-progress recovering perfectionist, former lawyer, mother of four, and Founder and Clinic Director of Eden Wellness Psychotherapy, I understand both the pull to keep going and the cost of doing it for too long. My approach is warm, direct, reflective, and results-oriented. I offer clear feedback, ask thoughtful and sometimes challenging questions, and work collaboratively with you to understand your patterns, build meaningful change, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and sustainable.
I look forward to supporting you on your wellness journey.

I am a social worker with more than 25 years of experience. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, reproductive challenges, and major life transitions, including infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum adjustment, perimenopause, and menopause. I also support couples with relationship conflict, communication challenges, and intimacy concerns.
Many of the clients I support are steady, capable, and deeply responsible. On the surface, they may appear composed, functional, and able to manage. Underneath, they may feel depleted, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unlike themselves.
Some come to therapy feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, or worn down by cumulative stress. Others are trying to make sense of loss, trauma, hormonal change, caregiving demands, reproductive challenges, or life transitions that have affected their sense of stability, identity, confidence, and connection to themselves.
